Mission Statement

• Develop and provide educational programs for the benefit of quality assurance professionals in Canada who participate in GLP/GCP/GMP regulated activities.
• Facilitate interactions among professionals in government, industry, and academia to advance current quality assurance standards.
• Provide a Canadian forum for communication with other Society of Quality Assurance (SQA) Chapters and related professional societies.

History of CCSQA

The Canadian Chapter of the Society of Quality Assurance (CCSQA) / Filiale Canadienne de la Society of Quality Assurance (FCSQA) was established by the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA) Board of Directors at the SQA Annual Meeting in San Diego in October 2001.

Our first full year (2002) we published 1 newsletter, hosted 2 evening educational sessions by teleconference, established our website (www.CCSQA.org) and had 51 members.

In 2003 we published 2 newsletters, had our first Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Ottawa, and had 55 members.  

In 2004 we published 2 newsletters, had our 2nd Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Ottawa, and had 64 members.

In 2005 we published 1 newsletter, had our 3rd Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Montreal, and had 63 members.  

In 2006 we published 1 newsletter, had our 4th Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Montreal, and had 61 members.

In 2007 we published 1 newsletter, had our 5th Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Montreal, and had 38 members.

In 2008 we had our 6th Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Montreal, and had 75 members.

In 2009 we published 2 newsletters, had our 7th Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Montreal, and had 51 members.

In 2010 we published 1 newsletter, had our 8th Regional Chapter Membership Meeting in Montreal, and had 53 members.
